Florals and Ascots... 🌸

Today was absolutely beautiful in the city of Chicago!! I went to an awesome Palm Sunday service, had brunch at "Yolk" then did some networking and of course a little bit of shopping at the Zuvva Pop Up Shop at Water Tower Place. To top all of this off my bestie was here!!!! #BestDayEver

With all of this happening I wanted to make my outfit super special today. If you know me you may or may not know that my favorite color to wear is black. Like my whole asthetic that I live in is black lol. Why???

However I love a little pop of color! I also love the idea of a floral grunge look for the Spring... what I like to call "Grunge in Love". I came across this super cute baby doll dress at Forever 21. I tried it on and knew it was coming home with me. Another element to this dress was that it had an ascot on the front of it!!!! Y'all know I love my androgynous statement pieces 😂. So this dress was everything I love into one. To top off the look simple sock booties, my fave fedora hat and the best pink lippie ever... Flat Out Fabulous from MAC.
