Summer '17 Lookbook: "Pretty Girl Rock"

Hello hello queens!!! Summer is here and so is my Summer '17 Lookbook. I'm so excited to share every moment and every detail of how I styled each look that I'm loving for this summer. #Kandyreign Edition 💁🏾

This first look I like to call "Pretty Girl Rock". My Ode to Keri Hilson lol...

Summer means dresses, skirts and fun and flirty things. It's really a time to be alive and not confined to any certain way you should look. I love a good maxi dress and even more so a maxi dress with a super high split in the front and a deep V neck line... Now #ThatsTheOne! 😂 It makes me feel so carefree, feminine and unapologetic about my body. (And no worries this super high split did come with shorts underneath just so you know lol.) 😉

Tying into my aesthetic, I named this look "Pretty Girl Rock" because those are two trends I love to combine. I love to be soft and feminine with some edginess to my look. Florals of course bring the softness and to keep the under palette black was a must in my choice of a maxi dress. #ILoveBlack lol. I wore my cute suede booties and paired the maxi dress with my all black fedora. A hint of edge and a hint of androgynous... you can never go wrong!

These days I'm all about minimalism. Especially minimal accessories... my look itself is big, no need to overpower the look with over the top accessories. I kept things light and dainty...
