Rock On... Corset Style

Okay so this look all started with a pair of shoes... lol. Way back when I owned a pair of booties just like these! Unfortunately I literally wore them out to death so they went home to be with the Lord lbvs... I came across these babies and I'm absolutely in love with them. First and foremost they are black second these boots give me that element of a rock street style aesthetic that I love. Now clearly I love to shop but don't get me wrong I'm a girl on a budget and I love a good bargain! These were originally $160 at Topshop and I got them for $66 plus my discount. *Black praise hand emoji*

Corsets are in for street style this Summer. You can see the corset on dresses, tops, pants, shorts and skirts. It's a very 80's grunge vibe that I'm actually feeling! Another great thing about the corset... it cinches the waist! Who doesn't love a good waist cincher lol!!? #ImHereForIt

This dress is so comfortable and very easy going you cant go wrong with the styling. I wore my corset dress with my buckle booties but your dress will also pair well with a pair of over the knee boots (OTK) or even heels and tights with a leather jacket for a more fall time look to make this dress a transitional piece. Now you know I love my dainty accessories so I stayed at home base lol... and of course you have to throw in the sunnies.

Give this street style trend a try! I know crazy to see what's normally considered women's undergarments to now be styled as an outer wear or accessory piece but it's fun! Seriously the easiest look to style and its comfortable lol. I actually wore this look to work today but its the perfect daytime look or night time (depending on how you style your corset dress) that looks fashion forward and effortless. Rock on queens!
