Happy Saturday queens! I hope your day was wonderful. I finally had a Saturday off from work and even better the hubs was off too! *Black praise hands emoji* lol
We had a great day. Topped it off with Spider-Man: Homecoming, if you haven't seen it already I highly suggest you do! I have to say it is better than the Tobey Maguire Spider-Man lol... sorry Tobey! Much love though! We had salad and salmon and ended up at the pool! A pretty chill day but I couldn't let a Saturday pass without dressing up a bit... just a lil bit lol.

So as you know, or may not know I love to contrast in my styling. Hard and soft, masculine yet feminine. Just a few tips if you want to try this contrast styling...

First, concentrate on the details. In this look it's the top that has most of the detailing. There's so much to love about it! My faves... the bow and the asymmetrical ruffles. What's not feminine and chic about it lol!? With the right detailing you can never go wrong.

Next find the neutral color or the color that is toned down in that detailed piece. For me it was my favorite color black. My black lace up jeans totally added the roughness and edginess I was going for in this look. For a hint of masculinity I added my bowler hat, nerd frames and my silver tip skinny belt.

Overall what makes this look fun, fresh and whimsical is the pop of color and floral print. Because I have a lot of black happening here I popped in some color in by adding in my peach clutch as a accessory and an orange lippie. And of course kept my jewelry light and dainty with silver jewelry since I have so much going on already. As far as the heels, you can never go wrong with a basic black sandal heel!

So don't ever expect just a floral look from this gal lol! It'll always be florals & things.
I'd love to see your contrast styling! Post and #KandyreignStyle so I can see your looks! Until next time queens.
