Hello hello everyone! My last post was about a week ago but it seems like forever lol... I've been planning partnerships and brand collaborations for the next few months and I'm so excited!! *As my dance instructor would always tell me, "Plan your work and work you plan".* Also I've been planning a drastic make over lol... it involves hair and I cant wait!!! Well back to this post in all honesty it's for fun!
I live around the corner from this dope wall that has all the Chicago mascots and their logos on it called Coach's Corner. There are also two college teams from Indiana on there but neither of the two logos were a Ball State University cardinal so I wouldn't dare have that in my pic! The vibe for this look was very street and super swaggy...yet sexy. The corset belt and fishnets are two of my favorite trends happening this summer. (See my latest post on #CorsetStyle here and the blog post from last week featuring Designer Share here for my fishnet socks.) Since I moved here in January I've been wanting to get some fashion and street style looks in front of this wall! Today it finally happened. Not to mention the hubs and I were actually supposed to be going to a White Sox game meeting up with friends... but we decided to play hookie instead lol.
This dress was over sized so I decided to break it up a bit by adding this corset belt. I love me some black so of course my black hat and black sock booties were a must. As an addition since my husband says, "I'm always cold", I threw in my denim jacket just to add some color lol... and a magenta lippie. Words to the wise, don't take life so seriously! Whatever you do make sure you are having fun. Just as this title "Sox vs. Socks" it makes no sense! Ha! But sometimes life makes no sense and you just have to go with the flow and HAVE. FUN.
