Hello Queens and Happy August! Was it just me or when August 1st hit did you think, "Fall!" I did lol! Fall is my favorite season... layering, boots and booties, fashion week, football, it's not too hot or too cold... its the best! Cheers to a new month, and a new season.
This past weekend I went to my husbands home town not under the best circumstances, his aunt had passed away from pancreatic cancer. So we went to her funeral and had a wonderful home-going celebration for his auntie. I was inspired to wear this khaki dress from Topshop that has corsets on the side. I know different than the traditional black with pops of color that I love to wear but this weekend I decided to switch things up a bit.

As accent colors I wore these floral shoes that had cobalt blue, khaki, yellow and red in the floral print. As the perfect contrasting color, I decided to pop the cobalt blue so I wore these awesome cobalt earrings! Seriously in love with them. I got them from the House of Freedom Jewelry at Topshop.

The title of this blog post is, "All Things Work Together For Good". During the home-going service the pastor said one thing that resonated with me that from time to time I tend to forget. It was these exact words, "all things truly do work together for good". We all go through things and when we do sometimes we can only see the bad and everything happening in that moment. We forget that God has a plan and whatever your situation is God has it planned for good. To receive the blessings God has for us sometimes he puts us through a test to trust him and to lean on him. I don't know who's going through anything but I encourage you to trust the Lord with all you heart. All things can and will work together for good!

One last thing before I go lol... I have to give a major shout out to my husband! He #lowkey is an artist which I love but last Christmas my mother got me a Nikon camera... Well ever since then he has been taking pictures and getting better and better! He is developing his natural artistic eye lol. So props to bae! I'm just so thankful for him because he actually loves taking pictures! So to ask this of him is a blessing that he is so willing. #HesTheBest.

Alright Queens! Until next time! Have a blessed week and stayed tuned for the next blog post! I'm actually really excited about this one and will be bringing some blogger babes along with me!
