Chapter 28

Hello queens!!! Gosh it's been forever!! I apologize for not having all the content for your styling and fashion taste buds! My phone finally gave out and went home to be with the Lord. Cause of death: Drowning in a toilet. *inserts laughing emoji* lol! It was a smart somewhat dependable phone... it definitely had it's bumps and edges...literally. It wasn't until I was without a working phone that I realized how reliant and dependent I was on technology even for the simple things! Figuring out how to get around Chicago for shoots, having my train pass, simply talking to my family and friends! It's been frustrating to say the least but the best *of the iPhone 8* is yet to come! Holding off until September 22! Oh and it's also water proof so now I can put all the phones in the toilet! lol!!!!!

Oh and yes... I changed up my look! What do you think!? I wanted the Taraji cut but came out with more of an Issa Rae style lol. But no worries! Both are great it just wasn't what I wanted!! So I was a bit upset by that but I'm okay with it! I have to be confident, rock it and own it. It's just hair it'll grow back and then I can really get what I wanted lol...

September 10th is such a special day to me... it's my born date!! But it's more than me being alive and Ms K Danny Lin bringing me into this world on that date, it's me challenging my self to continue living my best life. It's me working on a better me than the year before. It's me helping others to become the best versions of themselves! It's so many things. Also I have to say, September is just iconic in itself anyway so this whole month is a very special season in my life. It will be even more special because my Momma is getting married this weekend!! *Congrats Mom!*

This year I am 28. Nothing special, nothing fancy... not an 18th, 21st, 30th or 50th just 28. But me being my curious self, I decided to look up the number 28 and what it means. Man the number 28 is great. Words and phrases that stood out to me in my research were good positive energy, leadership, wealth and prosperity, a time to pursue passions. God only knows the true desires of my heart and I can't wait to see them fulfilled. I also know all of my desires wont be fulfilled at 28 but I feel that this is the year where God is ordering my steps in the right direction. Auntie Oprah said, "You can have it all. Just not all at once."

Well thank you all for the love and birthday wishes!!! I'm really excited for Chapter 28 and all that it has to bring. Keep your head and spirits up this month! There's something magical about September. But don't take my word for it, Earth Wind and Fire weren't dancing in September for nothin'! #NeverWasACloudyDay

P.S. I'm in the process of finding my style and aesthetic for the A/W season! I'm inspired by so much but I have to turn down lol... Why?? Because less is always more. Looking into some fur and shinny things for A/W 17...
