Maple Syrup & Co: Wooden Bracelets

Hello and welcome back! Welcome to March! That Spring weather is in the air!!! I can feel it! Sorry to be so eager for Spring but came and live or visit Chicago during the winter lol... you’ll see what I mean lol.

As promised I would have a blog post featuring a brand from the best city in the states! NEW YORK CITY! The accessory brand is called Maple Syrup & Co. Maple Syrup had reached out to me about collaborating and I immediately said yes. First of when my hometown, I’m sorry, the city of New York calls me I respond! #funfact, yes I am from Indianapolis but my mind, heart and spirit is of a girl from Brooklyn lol. Just so you know lol! Second I love their product and their mission. Maple Syrup & Co gives back to their environment. The brand has a partnership with One Tree Planted, a nonprofit organization that focuses on global restoration. For $1 they will plant one tree! Well with One Tree Planted and Maple Syrup & Co, with every bracelet purchased plants a tree. Cool right!?

Not only do I love this brands environmental contributions, the bracelets are a minimal yet cool accessory to give your style the extra lift it may need. You all already know, my accessories are very dainty and minimal to style my fashion looks.

To style this super cute jumpsuit and overcoat I added bit of arm candy. I simply wore a gold watch to go with my wooden beads. It’s easy, catches the eye when you are out and about yet minimal. This striped jumpsuit from Charlotte Russe had a neutral palette so to bring a slight pop of color I wore my rust overcoat from Topman. My shoes remained neutral with a chunky wooden heel from Steve Madden. For kicks I had to add in these 90's vintage flip up sunnies! Guess wear I got them...?? From a street vendor in New York! See it all comes in full circle lol...

So all in all a very simple look! This Spring stripes are making a come back! If your striped item has some color think of ways you can keep the look semi neutral or if there are colors in the stripes think of the color or colors that will color block well with the color that’s in your stripes. My striped jumpsuit had teal in it so I knew rust would be the perfect color to color block with teal.

This is all I have for today! I just wanted to take the time to highlight an emerging brand from my favorite city of all time, NYC, and also would like for you all to check out Maple Syrup & Co! Give them a follow and check out the dope product they have on their website here!

Happy March royal fam! Up next I have a special post highlighting the fashion show from Chicago designer, Cori Davis. I had the pleasure of interviewing her and I can not wait to share!

Have a great week and I will see you all soon.
