It’s Your Fantasy... Go For It.

Hello everyone! I hope your June has been off to a great start! I’ll have to say mine has been very enlightening yet exciting for new opportunities that have come my way. #blessed #favor I’m just honestly thankful for all of you who keep riding with me! I’m learning and growing and it’s because of you all so thank you. ❤️ 

This week I went to a midweek networking event hosted by EvolveHer. EvolveHer is a newer community organization in Chicago that seeks to connect and evolve women in their careers, goals, passions you name it. This was my first time attending an event hosted by EvolveHer. I follow them on IG and have seen other bloggers take pictures in front of the infamous “Fuel Your Passion” green leaf wall so I have to say I was pretty geeked to take a picture in front of his wall and post it lol.  

I attended #LadyBoss International, hosted by EvolveHer, with my coworker, Cherita because she invited me to come out with her and I was like yes queen! So S/O to Cherita! Thanks for the invite lol! At #LadyBoss International this discussion panel was so diverse and had so many great touch points. What I took from the discussion the most were the positive affirmations and reminders that I needed to hear to really fine tune and refuel my passions. ✨  

The biggest and best affirmation I heard this Wednesday and so far in life was, “You can’t lose at your own fantasy. Create what ever you have in your head and go for it.” -Ceta Walters, fashion blogger and Wednesday night panelist @clarkandstone

Insert “mind blown emoji” lol... I said wow!!!! So simple and makes so much sense! DUH! Lol... What ever you have been creating in your head, That podcast? Launch it. That blog? Start it. That book? Write it. That idea? Flesh it out. That app? Develop it. That boutique? Open it. That super special hidden gift or talent? Put it to use. You wanna know why?? Because you can NOT lose at your own fantasy! It’s like you’re the game creator... you know the in’s and outs and the secret passageways because this is your game and you’re the creator. It’s your fantasy!

So I say that to say this, no one or nothing is standing in your way. Don’t compare yourself to anyone else because you are up against no one! It’s your own fantasy and you have nothing to lose but so much to gain. Every time I attend a networking event it’s so beautiful because everyone has a story. It’s so encouraging to hear their journey, to share my journey and to have a network of support. Find like minded people and get the support you need so you and your fantasy can take off!  

Hearing this just totally refueled my passion. Other things that fuel my passions are my husband and just knowing I helped someone... with anything they need help with. Fashion, wardrobe assistance, a question about life or setting goals. I’m just a vessel who is here to help. So I have to know... what fuels YOUR passion!!? Let’s talk about it. #FuelYourPassion 💙
