Well hello hello y'all!!!

OMG, IT'S BEEN SOOOOOO LONG!
Let me fill you in lol...
I started a new job in December as the Visual Manger for adidas that literally had me having nightmares at night, contemplating my life decisions and possibly turning to drugs lol... jk on the drugs but it was that serious!!
Then, may he rest in power, my grandfather, the best grandad in the world may I add, passed away March 25th. That really set me back. He was my bestfriend and my number one fan. Every time I went home my first stop was to see my granddaddy and he would always be at the door waiting to see me with the biggest smile on his face. What made him great was his love for his family, his laugh and he never complained about anything. He never missed a single family function or anything involving the kids as we were growing up and he always did his work full out and with passion. His legacy "If you're going to do something, do it right." Hence the women I am today. Thanks granddaddy for everything. I still feel and think about you to this day and will until I leave this Earth! Love you and miss you.

After granddaddy's' home going it's just been life! Going through the motions and finding balance. Friends have been getting married, Jadien has been traveling like a mad man for work BUT I had to make space to go visit him so we wouldn't have too much time apart. Fast forward and here we are! Finally back on my feet somewhat, still finding that balance but stepping back into what I love. I love fashion, styling, sharing new thoughts and ideas and most of all you all! I wouldn't be here on this platform if it weren't for you all. Thank you.

Well believe it or not kings and queens… ya girl is turning 30! Literally in one month! Lol... I cant believe I'm entering into a new decade of life. To be honest I did cry hahaha... Jadien looked at me like I was a fool but I started reflecting on my 20's and my 20's were soooooo awesome! I was so blessed over the past 10 years to do and accomplish the things that I have! Side note I met Solange in my 20's, who's sister to Beyoncé, who's Blue Ivy's auntie... In my 30's it just means I'll have to meet Queen Bey!! Lol... My 20's were also a great season of life lessons learned. This just means to expect even more blessings and what God has in store for me in my 30's.
Here are my 5 things I'm looking forward to at 30:
Becoming "Unbothered"
Not unbothered like I just don't give a f*** lol but the unbothered where it seems like there's so many things happening around you and people are busy being pressed with the small things. I would like to be unbothered while thinking about the bigger picture. This will come with time I know, but stepping into this direction in my life would be golden. Being who I am, the smallest things stress me out! I'm learning to think big picture and to not sweat the small stuff.
Not Constantly Seeking Validation from Others
Now that I am getting older there is something so powerful about owning my thoughts and creativity. I don't need to seek validation in that! I'm learning to be confident in who I am and my creativity. To be vulnerable and put what I want to say out there. Whether you agree or not, I don't need to seek validation in that. As long as I'm confident and believe in what I am doing. I'm looking forward to where my creativity will take me in this journey.
My Fitness Journey
Since late June I have been diving into strength training. I found a personal trainer and I couldn't be more proud of the things my body has been able to achieve! When I told myself hell naw my body was like sis you got this lol... I have hip thrusted 200 lbs, deadlifted 70 lbs and I can now hold a plank in different variations for 1 minute! I'm very happy with my health and fitness right now because I have energy. When I wake up in the mornings it's not a task to get up. When I come home I don't go straight to bed. It feels great. So in my 30's I'm looking forward to continuing to build the best fit version of myself. Oh and a nice toned back. #FitBae
Keeping My Same Energy
Now this isn't just physically but personality wise! I will say I do have a pretty colorful flamboyant personality lol... I never want that to change no matter how old I get. So I'm looking forward to even more goofy moments, more jokes and more "yassssss queen!!!" every time I see a natural hair black girl doing the most basic things such as walking down the street lol.
Jadien Making Me a Mommy!!!!
Now hold on now... don't get too much dip on your chip. I am currently not expecting lol... But since June we are officially trying! We've told both of our families and they couldn't be happier. But everything is all in God's plan and timing. We aren't stressing about it and planning the calendars and such lol... We're just going with the flow! If it's meant to be it'll be.

Now what you all have been waiting for... OUTFIT DEETS!

Believe it or not I thrifted this 90's vintage set from Goodwill for $8! The best thrifted find I have spotted in a while lol... nothing like a good vintage set! Sarah and I spotted it and this set was the number 1 "yes" on my list. Check out my IGTV thrifting haul here! The pointed toe slingbacks are throwbacks from Topshop and the lemons, the best accessory you can have... from Whole Foods! Lol.
